I don't even pretend to like Hockey. It's a game. Just two teams batting a rubber disk around on the ice.
Still, I do like that our entire city is showing its' support for the local team (GO HABS GO!). I think it's nice to see all the flags, the painted cars, the shirts, etc.
Last night I was watching the game with Mr. Man and our team won - sending them to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Hearing the cheers in the street and the cars honking was kind of cool.
THEN...I woke up to this story.
What a disgrace.
It's a GAME. Not even the cup final game. Celebrating is good and fine. Trashing everything in sight is not.
I'm ashamed of my city.
